The new album is by far something out of the ordinary for a 80's melodic metal band that at one time concentrated on speed metal and melodic power metal. All though the band has taken a new direction, you'll still find the same Battle Bratt blast of power right down to the end beat.

Chris Laybourne is engineering the production with Mato Aghetti and while the two are in the studio spending endless hours on the production they have changed the whole direction of the bands sound back into Metal and more.  The latest collection of tunes is made up of nine songs total hailing in at around forty-five minutes of new BATTLE BRATT music... The sing done by Jim Kane has brought the band back into melodic melodies, much different from what Kane did twenty years ago. Guitars by Bill Kania are done very precise and full of hard metallic rhythms. Pounding Bass done by veteran rocker Rob Dexter fills the bottom end....  Mato Aghetti combines acoustic drums and percussions against sequenced drum loops interlocking for the primary foundation of the bands backbone. The new production has changed completely and the band thinks it is alot more what we did years ago with a modern-day NU Twist.

During the early part of our writing sessions this time around we where trying to lean away from out roots by trying to be something like an electronica metal band, all though it wasn't being accepted by our peers with gracious results, we decided to rethink our new music and elaborate on our direction. We now have a melodic metal crossover album with many different heavier sounds than expected…

Than band currently working with an artist in Brazil to collaborate on the new cover design that has prompted the band, along with the new studio production, to now change the title of the new album to a more appropriate title upon release and should be expecting a release date of early summer. It's been a long time coming and alot of work to get this album done, but with all the hard work that went into it, we hope you'll find it as something worth your time listening to. Kindest regards from the Bratt camp...
